When used as directed, this product will control metals that may be present in spa water.  Metals can arise from the spa heater or water source.

This product chelates (chemically coats) metals and preventsa reaction between metals and sanitizers, such as chlorine or bromine, that causes discolored water and stained spa surfaces.

This product will also prevent hard water (high calcium) from forming scale deposits in the heater or on spa surfaces.
